Erasmus+ mobilities: Anneli Tartolink opens on new page
Tartu Art School has been awarded the Erasmus+ Mobility Charter, which means that our students, teachers, and other staff have a constant opportunity to participate in international mobility, either for internships, professional training, or job shadowing. The Charter has opened up many new opportunities for the school community, vastly increasing the number of mobilities and adding a global dimension to their geographical scope. Our mobilities have reached as far as Peru, Indonesia, Australia and Japan.
With the international mobility and cooperation, we aim at better preparation of our students and staff to engage in increasingly international worklife and professional activities, and to feel at home in multicultural teams and work environments. That’s why, when organising foreign internships, job shadowing, and international cooperation projects, we pay equal attention to activities that develop not only professional but also social, linguistic, and cultural knowledge and skills.
During 2007–2014, we carried out about 14 mobility and cooperation projects within the Lifelong Learning Programme and Nordplus. Since then, we have implemented dozens of international projects within Erasmus+, ESF, and EEA and Norway grants, as well as within professional contacts and partner network created over the years. There is always something going on and something in preparation. During nearly twenty years of active international engagement, hundreds of students and staff members have participated in Erasmus+ mobilities and many other exciting transnational activities.
